Funny, I am surprised they are still saying 4 schools when I keep hearing it's us or TxAM......so I'll be shocked if it's one of the others..

I am just praying to the Heavens that it will be us....

Austin is just such a cool place to live, how could you even consider College Station?

There are a couple of threads on the Aggie Rivals Premium board. Those on the Longhorn Rivals Premium board who read it, had the following comments to make:

- According to a poster on the ag board, she said her favorite color is orange. That may not mean much, but the poster further stated that everyone on her account are now congratulating her. Members on ag board are taking this as bad news. This would be huge but I don't want to read too much into it.

- Perroni spoke to Sam Khan of the Houston Chronicle and says she isn't committed anywhere just yet.
 
okay, i'm confused...has kelsey narrowed her list to the horns and ags or not? i notice her mother says it's still "pretty much" the same four schools under consideration, which may also be a nice way of saying it really isn't four schools any longer.
 
Never saw any published report that she was down to only UT and A&M. Somebody on the Aggie board posted that, and most took it as gospel.

You can only sign with one school, so to me, it doesn't matter if she's down to 2 or 4 schools at the moment.

So, the Powerade jam fest is showing again at 10 on ESPN2. Kelsey says (before the jam fest) that she will announce her decision on Wednesday during the McD's all-american game.

The game is on ESPN at 4:30 (CT) wednesday.
 
Interesting time to make an announcement. LOOK AT ME! She definitely isn't afraid of the spotlight.

Is the game being televised Wednesday? What happened to the April 15 rumor?
 
just following the lead of the guys. Should be reported by the time I get home from work. It will be nice to find out where she is going.
 
and TXtoCO...i'm sorry, but if she EVER based her decision on what you've posted about her for the past couple of months.....the horns would have no chance.....

I understand this is a place to post your opinion, and i respect that, but you should also remember that she, and her mother are more than likely reading our posts.
 
I hope to LOOK AT HER in a UT jersey for 4 years. What a shot in the arm that would be. You can tell she has confidence and EXPECTS to win.

Each time I see this thread at the top, my heart skips a beat or two. I'm going to try to rest easy until Wednesday......and pray a LOT!

Same here Brulee! Kelsey Bone will be a program changer wherever she goes, whether it is UT or A&M. I am making the assumption that she has eliminated non-Texas schools but I have not seen anything that substantiates that. If she truly wants to go to a school where she can have the biggest impact and wants to stay in Texas, we are the perfect choice. With her and Reed on the floor we would have one of the strongest front courts in the nation. And she and Reed could team up on Griner! She has played against Griner and is obviously not intimidated, and that is what we will need for the next four years. And I think Bone wants to prove that she is really the better of the two and will work hard to do that.

Next year's class could be the one to turn the tide for us. And you have to believe that if Bone comes to UT that other talent surely will follow.
 
The waiting game is about to be over it sounds like. I'm looking forward to seeing all the players on the court, but especially Reed, Bone and Hill. I am really intrigued about how this will be incorporated into the game. Maybe she is just going to give a big

FYI that the game is being televised on ESPNU at 3:30 p.m., MDT, so I assume it will be on at 4:30 p.m., CDT, for those who are wanting to watch.
 
Then there were two...

I cannot stand the thought of her choosing A&M over UT! Just curious about her relationship with Coach G. In an interview that I saw with Bone she seemed to have a very jovial opinion of Blair and if I recall correctly implied that he was fun. Coach G can be fun! Winning would be even more fun!
 
It wasn't an interview in print. It was an interview that she did with a local radio station in Houston. That interview was linked on a thread several months ago but I cannot recall which thread that was. She came across as very mature for her age and very articulate. She handled herself like a pro.

She also made reference to a coach that had recently visited her at that time and how much that coach liked to shop and that his/her tastes were a bit pricey. She didn't name a name on that one.
