Kelsey Bone update

"The rebuilding [of the Texas program] doesn't seem so bad when you have someone like Coach G doing it," Bone said. "She's a master. It's the other things you get at UT that make up for the rebuilding parr right now."

Kelsey's mother, Kim Williams, an open and honest and involved woman, admits that her daughter has harbored those type of desires.

"I think Kelsey really has a craving to be able to put her own stamp, her own signature, on a program," Williams said.

somebody correct me if i'm wrong, but i don't think we've ever had any four-time all-americans. perhaps bone could be our first if she chose us. she'd certainly have to come right in and help patrol the paint for us right away, that's for sure. gosh, i have dreams of bone and cokie reed side-by-side wearing the burnt orange. whoo!

This article really makes it sound promising for Texas. This team is one great player away from huge success. If Texas can get Bone I think that is going to open the recruiting flood gates.

in one of the interviews of kelsey in the connecticut paper, she made mention of how cool it would be to play with great players like maya moore, tina charles, etc... i wonder if kelsey realizes her own greatness, and that she will command the same attention as the maya moore's, elena delle donne's, etc. -- kelsey bone is a FRANCHISE PLAYER -- no doubt about that! other players will be saying they want to play with her.

i'd love to see what goestenkors and demoss and company could do with her! i hate to keep beating the same drum, but just look at what they've done with ashley lindsey. there's absolutley no comparison to the ashley lindsey of old.

what a dynamic staff we've been lucky enough to have come in, after having a a great legend establish our tradition at texas. i don't know too many institutions in the nation that would ever be able to pull that off in any womens' sport.
