I like her personality...she seems to be a fun kid. She also seems to have a good head on her shoulders and is addressing the recruiting process with a lot of maturity.

Interesting that she listed Dawn Staley as one of her favorite players...who happens to coach at South Carolina.

Also interesting that she mentioned the UCONN press and that the UCONN experience was too much in her face. This is a rare glimpse into what turns a player off in the recruiting process. She said she was getting 400 emails a day!

I loved the interview. Kelsey is an appealing person -- a great personality, genuineness, and intelligence. I hope she comes here, but I will be a Kelsey fan whichever school she chooses.

Thanks for the post. Sounds like the fans at UCONN are shocked that a young lady would choose not to come to that university and are venting their frustrations.

Ms. Williams makes a great point...this is a young girl making the decision of her life. She owes nobody an explanation for doing what makes her happy.

Ms. Williams has visited our board, and has always been very supportive of her daughter, but remains very tactful.

Her point is often forgotten -- recruits are still just kids, not adults . . .
