Kasparek - No Hitter

I love this kid and his family. I am so happy for him -- he deserves some gravy after the kind of season he's had. What a great job by an outstanding kid!

And although I didn't see the game, I imagine that he didn't rack up 27 strikeouts. So kudos to the defense for taking care of business the way we know they can!

Kudos to a good ol' boy from Weimar. Great outing Kenn & well-deserved after TJ surgery & all the hard work to make it back. Special day in your life for sure.
 
Fun game to watch. Kasparek was in the zone. He only went to a 3 ball count on 3 batters. In the 1st inning, he had a 3-2 count before getting a groundout from the leadoff batter. In the 7th, he had a 3-1 count before hitting the leadoff batter. In the 9th, he had a 3-2 count on the batter before striking him out to end the game.

I'm most impressed - most impressed that he only allowed one base runner. So close to a perfect game!
 
Another sterling performance today. Kenn seems to have righted himself, and I suspect it is just in time to earn some money with the draft a month away.
