now that bone head base running error from Thomas early in the game comes back to haunt us.
 
I'm sorry but O'Dowd is going to have to stay on the bench and only come in to pinch hit when a starter like Kennedy or Brown or ??? has went ofer in a game.
 
What a ball game. Tix for tomorrow night's game are going for super-cheap on Stubhub, by the way (like $5 for reserved seats), I just bought a couple...
 
ha, whatever. i'll be glad when Chop gets back for more colorful commentary, i'm more the black and white TV, he's 4K in color.

Even Boehm will have an off day on occasion. Glad to know Hurley cleaned it up and threw very well. Gutsy comeback.

Season HR total = 104 (2 games left)*

Pitching has been our downfall this season and HR's are most uplifting.

We gave up a homerun and the lead at the very end of the game to feel completely defeated and then hit the game tying HR with a subsequent game winning hit.

A microcosm of our entire season wrapped up in one inning. :hookem:

Weird stuff happens at the end of the year. Who knows, watch LBJ show up and throw an 8 inning 1 hitter shutout or something...?

And for the optimists, watch Jack O'Dowd start going 2 for 4 each game, and jacking a homerun every other game.
