Kansas State Game

I think I heard them say something about testing and 24 hours, but it sounded a bit guarded and cryptic to me. There was conversation and background noise in my place when they said it.

Hamm showed a nice inside shooting touch over the defender.

Hepa continues to play a great game.

Ramey and Sims are on top of their games tonight.

The butt whoopin continues.
Hepa is on fire from beyond the arc. As is A. Jones. When this team drops 3’s they will be very tough to beat.

And Shaka has the team arm in arm, proudly standing at mid court with a hook em horns sign made by his hand for The Eyes of Texas.

I missed it. It was such a beat down, it was a bit tough to watch closely. How about that!!! Such an easy beat down!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

In Shaka's post game interview on the radio, he said Brock tested positive for Covid yesterday and they had to pull the other guys out. He didn't elaborate if those guys tested positive.

Great team effort to dominate a game that Texas should dominate if it is going to have a special season. Hopefully Jones, Brown and Cunningham are not out for long. Two winnable road games coming up but neither is a gimme so Texas needs to bring it’s A game. The games this week establish the floor even as games against KU WVU and Tech showed high ceiling. Win the games you should win that is goal next week.

With those three out, we'll be more like a 'normal' very good team for a while--with only one star big man. Although Sims has a supporting big man (Hepa) that is playing quite well.

If Hepa keeps making the 3 at a decent pace we will be fine. I was really impressed with his rhythm and poise. His offense contribution is HUGE.
Hamm and Simms are very tough with inside defense.

Shaka really earned his keep, coaching up second and third teamers to this high level. A dominating conference win 24 hours after losing three big men, including 2 that will likely stick for years in the NBA, is impressive.

He definitely will be a finalist for coach of the year if this keeps up. I really hate to see the team missing an entire week due to covid. Only about 45 days until tourny time.
