Kansas Game

While I still don't believe we're on the same level as the Zags, I think we're definitely going to start getting some looks as a #1 seed, assuming Baylor isn't as good as we all know they're not. The WVU/Tech games will tell us a lot about whether or not we can control the conference.

Huge win for the club. 49% FG and 46% 3PT will get it done all day. I think if KU had even played better Horns would have still won. I like this veteran team. And I like Shaka with hair.

Loved that game!

My favorite part was when the announcer was digging at Kansas for their inability “to run a coherent offense...”

So how does that feel Jayhawks?

Wow, I thought this was later game and have been doing yard work all morning. I come in to find out Herman is fired and Texas just blasted KU in Lawrence, incredible.

We’ll drop some conference games, but I think we’ll be in the top couple of seeds in the conference tournament and could win the Big 12–the toughest conference in the land. A (very) deep run in the big dance is realistically possible.

Shaka = good coach and good program builder.

My kinda day in the sports world!

Baylor is undefeated with one win over a ranked team (#15 Illinois) They’ll be exposed soon enough.

Kansas has been averaging nine 3-pointers per game. The Texas defense held them to three of 23 from beyond the arc. That, boyzo, is defense.

Hoping Mack rolls the agroids.

I’m not sold that Texas’ D led to Kansas shooting so poorly, just one of those games where one team goes ice cold and the other is hot. Still a big win, but not reading too much into it.

On a side note, Sims is a monster. Dunks anything within three feet of the basket. Dude has springs

Part of KU’s poor shooting was due to our excellent, and well-coached, D.

Sims is a beast
Kai is a beast
Brown is a beast

We will kill the boards through most of our conference run. Plus, those three create additional mismatches with their speed and agility.

It has been a LONG time since I have seen the Horns play so effortlessly. So great to watch.
let me add against top program.

Hard not to be impressed

Our margin of victory "was the most by an opponent in the Phog since Missouri’s 91-66 victory on Feb. 1, 1989."

Crazy day. Who would have thunk it?

Shaka has been real quiet lately. He's apparently doing what people are supposed to do when they're getting paid: WORK

Awesome win.

Which is the same margin. Apparently we tied the all-time largest defeat by KU in that building.

Eventually the rest of the fan base will start listening to us. This is a great team which is incredibly well coached. Sorry Shaka haters, but it took a little time for him to put together a team, but now the future is so bright we have to wear shades.
