Kansas Game 2

Cole is 6-0 with 2.64 ERA. KU starter is 4-2 with 5 plus ERA.

Lets hope the Horns brought their bats today because once again a decided advantage in pitching to Texas.

Top One (this will be behind for those of you with radio's as am depending on gametracker)

Lytle leads off for KU and grounds out to third.

Horns infield is Lusson at 3rd, Loy at short, Etier at 2nd and Shepherd at 1st.

#3 batter Heere K's.

To bottom of first 0-0.

Top of 2nd

Thompson leads off for KU.Flys out to 1b

Waters follows with pop out to 2b.

Two down.

Lisher is #6 hitter. Grounds out to first baseman who flips to Green to end inning. 0-0 to bottom of second.

Cole continues to be an absolutely dominant Saturday starter and a strong #2 who would be the ace on just about every other staff with exception maybe of UCLA. He has started strong again today setting first six batters down in order. Now if the bats can just get going.

Moldy K's. Kevin Lusson up.

Last night the Horn hitters K'd 12 times. That has been a season long trend.

Kevin Lusson flys out to center to end inning. Lead off man got on but never moved from first. 0-0 going to top of third.

Hope the offense finds itself today or this could be another nail biter like last night.

I have to go run some errands, someone else will have to pick these up for a while.

Kansas got a single and a walk, 2 on with 2 out in the 3rd, Horns have No hits thru 2, what is up with the lack of offense?

Kansas has a pretty good offense but their pitching so far this year has not been good until they get to the Texas series.

Texas has 1 walk in 3 innings. Top of the 4th 1 - 0 Kansas. Looking at KU's season they have given up alot of runs.
