Journey was classic mediocrity. They had some respectable songs that were enjoyable to listen to. There were plenty of bands that were worse, but plenty were better.

I think that's been the theme of this thread. But if being mediocre will get me as rich as Steve Perry, I'll be very happy to be mediocre.

Ok this kinda relates. Went to an art show/ street fair here in Dallas. a few years ago
They had a live free concert with 3 Dog Night.
Turns out there was only 1 actual original member
But my friends assured me that if you didn't look at them and had plenty of beer they sounded just like the original.

The dude does sound like Steve Perry.

Not a huge fan of Journey. But for some reason I like the song Only Solutions (which was written for Tron and can be heard in the background at Flynn's arcade, also plays on the end credits)
