Jordan Effing Spieth

After rounds of 65-67-69, Jordan was 3 off the lead going in to final round of British Open, but he seems headed for the 70s in the final round after 3 scrambling pars and a bogey so far today.

An eagle on 7 gets him back to even for the round and 9 under for the tournament.

Back to back birdies on 9 & 10 get him to 11 under. He’s 2 under for the day, but Morioka was killing it at 14 under.

Morikawa now 15 under. Speith 13 under.

Probably wishes he could have that 3 ft putt he missed yesterday on 17 or 18 back.

66 on Sunday and all four rounds in the 60s. Got it back together after a slow start today and slow finish on Saturday. Way to goJordan.

He is making a run for the lead!!

Just got a birdie on par 5 - #14 and is -13 under and 1 stroke back of Hiakawa.

4 holes left to get it done....

All things considered Jordan had a terrific tournament. It would have been interesting to have seen how today would have played out if not for the late lapses yesterday.

Until he wins his next major — hopefully next year — I can’t say that he’s back. After all, he was a machine, until he wasn’t.
