I keep all of those lost in my prayers every day, but I will offer prayers for you and your friend and his family at church tomorrow. Just wanted to let you know that there are more important things than our UT loss today-there are still people grieving and I have not forgotten. My heart goes out to you-

went to Joey's memorial today. it was out in Rockaway Beach and it was the first time I was able to get away from the city a little bit and see the new skyline with my own eyes. very sad.

the funeral was an amazing experience. with over 300 funerals, firefighters are coming in from all over the east coast, so that each firefighter gets a strong show of support. and amazingly, mayor rudy showed up in the middle of mass, and gave a great eulogy afterwards. he seems to be everywhere these days.
