I don’t know much about Jimbo.
But it appears Aggie has successfully indoctrinated him into their delusional realm.
And you know Aggieites LOVE his rant.
Agree with him mentioning the comments and disallowing them( even though that probably not true- Aggie wasn’t that good.. so it’s hard to believe money had no impact) but to go on and on while playing the holier than tho bit is textbook Aggie.

I was making fun of Jimbo and the aggy 2021 record. We all know it's NIL with this recruiting class, and it's funny that Jimbo is upset about the comments. Hence why he needs to be mocked. aggy, well, they always deserve it.
 
Agree - NIL has changed things dramatically and everyone knows the role it is now playing in the process. Our OL class was HUGE (pun intended) and I venture a guess to say we don't get close to what we got without the Pancake Factory. Just admit it, celebrate it, and then go keep building it. To deny and get all flustered and defensive is just stupid.

Oh yeah, we are talking about "them" so I guess it makes sense...

Yes the pancake factory absolutely contributed to our success.
 
I keep wondering when all the focus on alumni/NIL's will begin to his the Athletic Departments in the pocket book. At some point donors will make a choice on whether to give directly to a player or give to the AD with the promise of slightly better seats.

Wait until the first round of flunkouts, conveniently arranged police stops, academic problems with Calculus, Physics, Bio Chemistry (other such courses no athlete should be enrolled in). The kids get a hard lesson in "fine print" and the checks stop coming.

Will the cretins in Indianapolis turn a deaf ear and blind eye to the cluster they have created?

Speaking of Leon, I don't know if he ever played football, but I watched him catch a saddle bronc and unhook an unconscious rider before the pickup men could get there on their horses. The guy could fly and jump. (He caught the horse in the arena, dove across the top of him and dislodged the cowboy from his rigging.)

If I remember right Leon played running back for Crockett High School in Austin, Texas in the early 70's.
