From the replays, in Slo-Mo, the way he would disappear was amazing...There would just be this sliver of a crack, closing fast, and the next thing you know the hole was gone, but so was Rodgers. Huh? Can't imagine how it must have looked in real time, on the ground. Must have looked like a magic trick.

Guys like that are very hard to predict as to which ones will pan out and which ones just take up a scholarship. Besides, isn't Fozzy Whitaker our version of this kid?

I think Alamo Heights beat both Rogers (Lamar Consolidated) and Griffin (Copperas Cove) en the semi-finals and finals to win the 4A State Title two years ago.

I knew the kid was good when I read about him in Dave Campbell's as 4A POY but damn did he impress me last night. Somewhere along the broadcast, the announcers said that he only had one tackle behind the line of scrimmage this year for a 3 yard loss.

He just proves the point that the depth of talent in Texas high schools is tremendously deep and there is no reason for Big 12 schools, especially Big 12 south to not put forth every effort to recruit Texas. I wish Oklahoma would have pursued that little dude.
