I’m confused what you’re talking about. I was referencing Hurts not doing it like Kelly Bryant and shutting down on his team before burning a year of eligibility. Hurts stuck it out, played garbage time and then saved their season in the SEC title game at the cost of a year of eligibility. That is a leader. It impressed me then and I was Christmas shopping watching that game on my iPhone.Bubba,
I have no doubt that your staff does that, but perhaps not to the extent of Urban Myth. If your know anyone that does not believe that there was major tampering between Columbus and Athens, please let me know. I'll send them a get well card to the psych ward they are in.
Hes a coaches kid. Its not chic as of late in norman, but maybe he has some character. How long before we see a picture of him doing the horns down?

Wait for the mind-altering sessions that go on in Norman.I actually really like Hurts and it seems like he is above that.
"You can come here and win championships or you can go to Texas, but that's your decision to make."
We have no say in the matter.
Hurts impressed me when he declined to do the 4 game minimum to keep a whole year of eligibility. He’s a team guy with some character.
He could have been like jelly Bryant but didn’t.
Yes Did he actually declare or just say he was? And then change his mind?
Excellent point. The OL at Zero U is not in the same league as Bama - no question that Hurts is an excellent QB, but he had much better talent around him at Bama.He isn't going to look as good with the OU line versus the Bama line.
I'd have him enrolled in a MA in basketweaving immediately! So, Hurts will have one year of eligibility.
He has to enroll by Friday to participate in spring practice. I'll bet Lincoln Riley is down at registration filling out the forms right now!
Adrian Peterson said that about why he chose OU over Texas, and he got to watch on TV as we won the MNC in the 2006 Rose Bowl.
This was my first thought as well.I wonder how this will effect HS QB recruiting.
If HS QBs will look at OU and wonder if they'll ever have a chance to start there.
Its going to have been what, 4 going on 5 years in a row that the starting QB has been a HS recruit?
Of course, it may not matter of OU can consistently be magnet for transfers.
Snowflake meltsou sux
jalen hurts
snowflake swallows
Have you SEEN what the car dealership(s) surrounding Norman pay?How the **** does OU keep getting all these high caliber transfers? Not just any transfers, but Heisman caliber QB transfers???
Seriously, other than sucking, what are they doing? We should figure that out and do the same.
Lincoln caves in to backlash. Austin can bounce.
I love Shane but if he — or any Texas QB — were to choose to transfer to a Big 12 team that would be distasteful to me. Unless a player was completely mistreated by his previous school (and we probably wouldn’t know if they were), I don’t like the message being sent by an in-conference transfer. I wasn’t thrilled when Bonney stayed in conference but perhaps TH blessed the move.I wonder what our response would be if Shane wanted to transfer to TCU
