There was an article in SI way back when Sherrill was at ATM... he actually likes to dress up as a clown, and would go out in public, to restaurants, etc. and apparently got off on the fact that no one knew who he was. As I recall there is a picture of him in that same issue in clown make-up.

I'm not kidding.

You think that pic of Jackie Sherrill as a clown is bad. About a month ago my boss invited me to a parade where he dressed up as a clown and made balloon animals. How can I turn a montly report to that guy any more?? When he ask me to do things now, I just want him to juggle or get out of a tiny car. It is just a mater of time now before I lose it in a meeting after a long night of watching football and drinking beer.

If I were ever recruiting against Sherrill for a recruit, I would get my hands on a photo of him in a clownsuit. No player could commit to him after that. Agreed on Corso. The fact that he seemed so at ease with the Theatre of the Absurd that is Jackie Sherrill's Starkville seems almost as frightening as JS's clowns themselves. Then again, Lee Corso closely resembles a baboon, which is a known circus animal, so there may be a connection.

It's virtually a full moon tonight. I now have this image of Sherrill in a clown suit, Herbstreit, with his ghastly werewolfian eyebrows in full bloom and his ears forming points, and Corso morphed into a baboon, yelping at onlookers on all fours with his red *** flaring, all running in a circle as Fowler cracks them all with a whip in a ringmaster's outfit and charges $8.00 at the front of the tent to spectators. Wow.

I am now convinced that Jackie Sherrill and the Gameday crew really do scare me more than clowns.
