Way back in May, I got my first ticket for speeding while on the turn from Riverside onto the feeder, but that's beside the point. The ticket wasn't filed until after my court date. I went to court to get it taken care of, but the workers told me not to worry about it and told me that since it wasn't filed then, that it will probably never be filed. Needless to say, my ticket now exists and has accumulated a massive fine followed by a warrant out for my arrest. The record shows that the court made no effort in contacting me until last month telling me that the ticket is now in effect. Now is the first time where I have time to take care of it. I have to drive from Houston to Austin tomorrow and face the music. Pray that the judge does the right thing in at least reducing my fine to its original state or dismissing it altogether. I'm also turning right around and driving back to Houston. Pray for a safe...and perhaps, fun journey. Thanks, Horns. - Travis
