Kinsler went Jack to make it 2-0. Made bobble in field but CJ, of course, retired next 3.

I refuse to even watch the game. Superstition. I remember being up a game and seemingly taking it to the Yankees the only other time I remember the beloved Rangers in the playoffs. I celebrated after a Juan Gonzales jack for a lead in game 2 then, if I remember correctly... Every damn thing went wrong and we lost that and the nex games in a row to be out.
I was thinking the same (takes a lil sting outta the ucla and ou games)...let's all hope the R's BTHOO the yanks or twins next saturday cuz i don't know if i even want to watch that game in lincoln.....
but i will watch it.....may be a trainwreck, but i'll be glued to the tube
Wow, I feel like a 8-yr-old girl who found out she got Justin Beiber tickets. Holy ****, this is ALLSOME!
We're gonna sweep these fools!
**Breathe, breathe -- calm down.**
Okay, snap to reality. Still have work to do. I think Garza may win Game 3, but we take Game 4. What will the pitching matchup be for Game 4? Tommy vs. Wade Davis? Would they throw Price back out there on Sunday or hope against hope they force a Game 5 to use him then?
Hopefully, it won't matter as Cobra puts this **** on lockdown.
I'm with you, OUE. It appears that the Yankees will dispatch Minnehaha in three games, so it would be nice for the Rangers to do likewise with Tampa. That way everybody gets the same amount of "rest" (if it's possible to rest in the eager anticipation of the ALCS). With home field advantage, I like the chances against NY - may take all seven games to do it.
Wow, TB Bucaneers, uhh I mean devish rays score 1 run in 2 games and we score 11. Good Guys lead the series 2-0 coming back to Arlington with GREAT Mo at our back... we win this series and get home field vs. yanks... I am in hawg heaven uhh, I mean enjoying this ride so much!
Bullpen totally screws the pooch. I'm nervous b/c we've used O'Day and Oliver in all 3 games. Feliz has been shaky as hell. Tommy isn't known for going deep in games, so this only makes the bullpen situation more dicey.
Wade Davis takes the mound for the Rays. He's solid, but this will be his first taste of post-season play. The same is true for Hunter, though.
Michael and Josh have come up pretty empty in this series. I know MY had the big 3-run homer, but he's looked lost at the plate, otherwise. If we can get the offense going, it'd be huge for Tommy and take some pressure off of him to not feel like he has to pitch perfectly.
We better win tomorrow or we'll be in a Game 5 @Tampa. They'd have to be favored to take the series, at that point, no?
OUE - good analysis - yeah, not time yet. The freakin' bullpen did let 'em down tonight. Especially Oliver IMHO. Rangers really need to win on Sunday and get this thing done... going to TB for game 5 has bad news written all over it.
Well, not to go all Nostradamus on y'all, but that played out about like I predicted. Damn.
Is anyone confident we can win this Game 5 in Tampa? Lee will either prove his real worth, or we become only the 2nd team to choke away a 2-0 lead in a divisional series.
Very disappointing not to close it out in The Ballpark. However, it now comes down to a one-game series in Tampa. I like the chances with Cliff on the mound.
I know there's a lot of disappointment but suffice to say I think the way things are set up favors the Rangers. If I were a Ranger fan I'd be a lot more concerned going back there on 24 hours rest but the Rangers have over 48 - and Tampa doesn't exactly have the greatest home field advantage either as the Rangers have already proven. Their momentum will be slowed in the off day.
Good point HuskerNKingwood. Their momentum will cool off a bit and their fan support is below average for sure. Cliff Lee can give the Ranger bats time to re-discover their hittin' shoes. Looks like it's set for about a 7 p.m. CDT start.
