It's the Alamo Bowl

In Pasadena is about the only time I have sat in University issued seats. For multiple Cotton Bowls, I have improved my seats and then sold my tickets for more than I paid for the better seats. More often than not, I have not ordered bowl tickets from the University,

Try this on, the Alamo Bowl will give you 8 seats in a suite for only $4500. Not sure that includes refreshments - usually those are additional.

Could have been worse, considering the circumstances....but, for me, USC bailing and instead it being the Buffs makes it pretty lame indeed

Rain,

I posted previously that I feel sure they will not bring Ralphie. She is specially trained to run that loop from the dressing room around Folsom Field and up into her trailer. I don't think there is anywhere in the AlamoDome to park her trailer, and she ain't easy to stop.

I would buy tickets outside as well - you always get better seats, and usually at a far lower price that via the school. Paid 75 bucks (!) each for 1996 Fiesta bowl tickets in the corner of the end zone (horrible seats). As many tickets as you wanted were available outside for 5 bucks. Never again.

I understand what your saying about outside tickets I’m just thinking with the restricted seating it may not be the same this year, but I may try anyway.

For those that have gone to UT home games, were tickets available outside? If so, then that's a good guide as to interest level compared to seats, even with the reduced seating.

their ticket office is very good; I have been buying bowl tickets from the Alamo Bowl for years and they are very helpful and this year may be real good because of the lack of interest and the pandemic

Aggies are going to the Orange Bowl for a major bowl, and while it's not the college playoffs (nor should they be going), it's a better result than what Texas has to show for the season.
BUT...they are going to the Orange Bowl with the right to be curb-stomped again by Mack.

That could actually become appointment TV...

Actually think A&M is better than ND. ND beating Clemson is a huge *. Their win over Florida is much better than anything ND has.
A Florida team that lost to LSShoe. Remember, that LSShoe team lost to damned near everybody, with the level of exposure being, umm...exposed by the way MS State got thrashed by almost everybody THEY played.

College football is rarely predicable from who you lost to and who they lost to.

Texas < ISU < U La La? It doesn't work like that in regular seasons, much less in this one with very limited practice time, some weeks teams clicked and other weeks they did not.

ATM NC might be a good game - I'd not count ATM out - they have a good defense and good QB. With Jimbo making 10 million a year or whatever the amount it, this is his big chance to get them a major bowl win (have they ever had one?) and advance the program. Or do their usual and step up, then fall back.

What about this year, with reduced tickets? That would be comprable to the Alamo bowl. But if I had to choose, I'd go with scalping outside. Always seems the best move for UT games. Plus you can always "opt out" if you feel like it, without being stuck with the tickets.
