Israel = the Good Guys in the Middle East; Turks proving to be our enemies

Israel counter-punches, hitting targets in Isfahan and other places in Iran, including an island in the Arabian/Persian Gulf.

Not a truly massive strike. Apparently, explosions on an airbase in Isfahan.
 
NBC makes it sounds like Iran is ‘brushing this off’ as an ineffective and minor move by Israel.

Past 24 hours or so. Israel has hammered Iranian facilities and bases located in Iraq and Syria. Significant damages reported. Iranian and Russian-supplied air defenses were mostly ineffective. All military targets.
 
Controversial opinion: giving money to Ukraine is more justified than giving money to Israel. At least Ukraine was attacked by a country much more powerful than them. Ukraine is destined to lose because of that regardless. Hamas has no chance to defeat Israel. What they did on 10/7 was way beyond their real capability. It was massive security system failure which can be fixed by listening to their intelligence and responding quickly. Israel sat for at least 9 hours before they did anything.

All your saying is that Israel is starting a war with Iraq and Syria. Israel is the aggressor in this case. Do you still give them a pass?

If so, is there anything they could do that you would criticize? Or can they do whatever they want?
 
Some people must think that Hornfans.com controls the US Congress, the Knesset, Sinwar of Hamas, and the Iranian supreme leadership, or something...

If Iran were to shrug it off, even if a few more targeted strikes occur, it could still simmer down. A problem is that until Iran stops sponsoring/funding terrorists who attack Israel and us, they'll still have a target on their backs.

Meanwhile, the likes of AOC, Ilhan Omar, Cori Bush, etc. heap criticism on Israel. So what does that tell you? You're known by the company you keep.

When they invaded our embassy and took our people as hostages. Forget that? That was one of the Islamic Republic’s first move. It led to the downfall of Jimmy Carter. They have also attacked our ships sailing in International waters in the Gulf.

They’re one of the worst anti-American regimes out there.

Yeah. I forgot about the hostage crisis. It is very wrong to attack embassies of other countries. We should be against countries doing such things.

I think I remember some sporadic attacks on ships. Also very bad. Even worse if these were civilian vessels carrying cargo.

In my mind I was asking about if Iran has attacked the American mainland.
 
In my simplistic mind Johnson caved. I thought I remembered him saying no bill without inclusion for our border. Either I was wrong or he caved, like I said I’m simplistic in my views. You go or get off the damn pot. They all make me sick.
If you don’t have the $$ for our problems, and the border is a hell of a problem, then you don’t have the $$ (billions btw) to give away to foreign countries. Heartless? I guess so but that’s my feelings today.

When I was in the Army, my First Sargent had been in the special forces earlier in his career. If you remember, there was a failed hostage rescue mission. He was on the helicopter that crashed as it was headed out on that mission. He said the ground crew forgot to put the sand filters on the engine and it sucked up sand causing the engine to stall. What a dumb way for a critical mission to fail.

He was a man of many interesting stories.

Yeah. I think H Ross Perot was involved in the attempted helicopter rescue.

He did. I think he had no option on getting money to Israel without including Ukraine. I don’t think they want funding for the wall until they get through the election. It’s why we are screwed by our elected government.
