I don't understand the question. "Easing" is not his style, as evidenced by his desire to have the multiple phone calls, starting with all the lettermen & then the BMDs down to the LMDs. I think he will "ease" into Texas HS coaches the same way Hitler "eased" into Poland. He and the staff will watch a ton of film of what he's inheriting and of HS kids.

Chris will protect him from donors and ticket holders so he can do his job

What is expected of a head coach here is what is expected of HCs at maybe 5 universities.
There is almost as much importance handling off field stuff as in. And for a new HC some of the off field stuff can be daunting.
I like your answer. I want this coach to be the one.
