not anymore. it used to be that the Big 12 Conference Champ was determined about an hour before the bracket was announced. But a couple of years ago they shifted the tournament up a day. The Championship game is now on Saturday.

There are several teams in the Big East that could win it all, everyone in that conference will be tournament ready big time. Texas not really being tested down the stretch is not good for them.

I would offer that Texas just got tested against BU, and probably will be tested once again in Waco.

Then there is also the possibility of getting a severe test in Lincoln, but the Huskers are so up and down you just never know what you're going to get on any given night.

All 3 road games left will be tests. And if we make the Big 12 Champ Game, that will be basically a home game for KU. If we get through all that, this will go down as the greatest Texas team ever, assuming at least a sweet 16 birth.
