How did the turf contribute to their goal? Seems the ball deflected off Ferdinand and Lampard was there to make the play. Did something happen before that which I'm not remembering? I don't know why Tommie Smith kept saying 'bad clearance by Ferdinand"...It deflected off of him and I thought he did a fine job turning on the run and almost getting back to the stop the shot.

Why do penalty kicks exist anyway? Why don't they just keep playing until someone scores? At least that was, the team with the most stamina will probably win instead of the luckiest one.

Still smiling over Drogba being ejected late in the 2nd extra period. Love it. He is the king douche of all douches in the EPL. Second isn't have the douche.
