Bub- What part of the same number of jobs would have been saved in a traditional bankruptcy didn't you understand?
I agree that govt involvement is sometimes necessary in business. The SBA program is actually quite good. I would not have opposed a govt loan AFTER a reorg of the company but not in the way this one was handled. You think it was fair to the bondholders? BO used our tax dollars as a payoff to the unions. I dont think that is right. You do know that the GM deal went against the current laws for bankruptcy treatment right?
I hope we make a profit, but we are a long way from that point. If you look at the entire TARP program, we willalmost certainly make money on the banks that were part of the program. We will never in a million years recoup the money BO put in Fannie and Freddie and I doubt we will make it back on GM. I hope we do.
