Is Colt an NFL QB?

No way can we tell at this point. He could put together a full 4-year body of work and have a good shot, but there cannot be a definite yes - that's just a big slab of hooey.

Does anyone here watch NFL football? Colt's better than 0.25 of the starters RIGHT FUCKIN, NOW! Including the great tony romeo!!!!

What about Tom Brady? Who thought he would be an all world QB coming out of Michigan? Colt will in all likelyhood be drafted, he'll be a starter at UT for at least three if not four years, he's at least 6'2'' and has grown into his frame. He's got a better shot than many other college QBs.

some people need to take off the glasses. There is no way that Colt is ever a starter in the NFL. There's plenty of good and even great college QB's who don't make it in the NFL. Hell, there are Heisman winners who weren't NFL material. ****, a large percentage of the solid starters in the NFL didn't go to a big school or ever make an All-America team. The NFL and college are two completely different ballgames, and Colt is not NFL starter material.

28-10 must be a distant memory to the land thieves. I don't think hewill be a starter, but there are nearly 100 jobs in the NFL, and I think there is a pretty good chance that he will claim one of them.

Unless he decides to do something else when he leaves UT I think the NFL will be an option for him. I think he has a better chance of being drafted than not being drafted.

He still has a couple of years to mature and I think it is safe to say he will only get better.

olevet, not sure where you were going with that, but just in case...

Will Colt be as successful as Major (in the NFL) ?

HELL NO. I hope he can just get us through this season with only a couple losses. There are bigger questions than Colt for sure, but NFL QBs need arm strength. Or they end up like Chad Pennington.

Uh, Chad Pennington played QB in the NFL. The question isn't whether Colt will be solid or great but whether he'll play. I think he'll play.

Not a starting QB in the NFL, but he will need 2 more years of college experience to become a 3rd string QB in that league. Heck he may not be the starting QB at Texas by the end of this year...just sayin.

This is getting out of hand. Will someone with some idea what they're talking about, perhaps with some video or something, show me how Colt has such a terrible arm? I've never noticed it being anything but average, certainly not way below average as everyone here seems to be suggesting. You act like he throws like a girl. Give us something more than your drunk and pissed and sitting home on a Saturday night colored glasses.
