Really? The kid was bought and paid for by one of Briles street agents. As I recall, he lived with the guy during high school. By the time Briles was fired, word was out on Sumlin lying to all the QBs, most of whom were bailing. It is distinctly possible that the Aggies could have paid the agent enough, but fortunately for Stidham, he was advised to sit out a year for negotiating time. Kid is a talent, but as I said, he was bought and paid for.
