Irby sustains season-ending knee injury

I seriously think that would have killed me.

What a total class act. I bet he came up with that too, and it wasn't written up by a coach or SID.

I was kind of thinking that in the presser they would have diffused whether the hit was illegal. To not say anything leads me to believe they might have thought it was shady. OR if Irby chose not too because he is such a high road type that is all f'in class, which he obviously is...

Is the rule on medical redshirts that a player have played less that 20% of the season? I seem to recall that there is a certain % that a player cannot play beyond. If 20% is the rule, then Blaine should get a medical RS, no?

I felt really bad for the dude last night. His face grimmacing, you could just tell that he knew his season was over and he must have been in some excruciating pain. I hope he can make a complete recovery.

As someone who has had a major knee injury/surgery, I literally felt sick and had to walk out of the room after seeing it on TV.

Talk heavens for the wonders that modern medicine can do.
