He will try to claim this is not a fact. That’s all he does. He’s just like the MSM. They don’t even care if everyone knows they are making up crap. They have enough people out there that are too stupid to research or find answers so they just take their word for it. It’s what the liberal depend on. He's 79 years old. The only other comparably aged media personalities are Chris Matthews (71) and Lou Dobbs (72). MSM typically pushes older personalities to the wayside. If Pat was discriminated against it was due to age, not his views. He was a regular panelist on NPR's The McLaughlin Group until McLaughlin died in 2016. I used to watch that show religiously.

And as far as Doctorow being “fringe,” that’s just your way (and establishments way) of demonizing someone whose views you are afraid of getting air time because they might expose holes in the MSM narrative. Better to demonize and censor - the equivalent of burning books - than to allow competing viewpoints of which you might have to debate and defend against.

That's a self serving definition that could be used for any argument Why don't "flat earthers" get more MSM time? Why doesn't Al Queda get more MSM time to defend their views? Why doesn't Musberger get airtime? Is the only possible answer because MSM is censoring these viewpoints?

Trump being ineloquent or loose with his words is "Fake news"? He was responding to a comment from a CA law enforcement officer. I read that in the USA Today. I'm sure some media outlets aren't outlining the context.

The problem is that he continually exaggerates the criminal element portion of illegal immigration in the past and continues today. To advance his policy agenda he wants to energize the Garmel's of his base. Acknowledging MS-13 members are a small minority of illegal immigrants doesn't fit the narrative. Instead he leads with "drug dealers, rapists" and MS-13 members.

Nice spin. However, all you have to do is look at the transcript or watch the initial conversation to know what he was talking about. The media tried to pull a fast one and got caught again. The problem is not exaggerated. Around 20% of all murders in the U.S. are caused by illegal immigrants. Not many are caused by poor Latinos looking for a better life. It's caused by illegal gangs and cartel members in this country. It's not just Trump that says this, it's law enforcement officers. You don't know it's a problem because the MSM rarely mentions it because it's politically incorrect. This is a root problem with liberalism as a whole and why liberals can't solve societal problems is the belief that if something is politically incorrect it can't be true.

The Rial has been losing against the USD basically ever since 1979 -- back then one Dollar would get you 70 Rials, Yesterday (Sunday), one Dollar got you 87,000 Rials. Today, who knows?

At the end of 2017, it was trading at 42,890 per USD. In early May, when Trump stated he would end Obama's infamous nuke deal, it was trading around 65,000.

The people may want to be western but without a means to stop the people with the weaponry it is not likely to happen.
Hopefully there are some reasonable people in the upper ranks of power and military.
