excellent game defensively for the Horns. Offense still has trouble starting. But this will give Carla a few more days to heal a bit before the NCAAs start. Hope this pushes the Horns away from that 8-9 seeding.

well said jusme. definitely disappointed with the loss, but very proud of the effort. the defense and hustle was great. but seriously, the shooting needs to improve before the NCAA tourney.....need to be in the gym everyday before our next game, working on shots.

Baylor loss plus Iowa State loss...great way to send me off to my spring break...

I do think we played pretty well, certainly well enough to give ourselves a great shot at the upset. I really liked our full-court press - too bad women's basketball doesn't have a 10 second rule. Really great defensive game by both teams. Both teams might have struggled to hit 50 if not for some phantom blocking calls on both ends..

I was so mad last night...and not about the game. I went to a local bar with friends and was given the remote to one of the TVs so that I could switch back and forth between the men's game and the women's game. After the men's game ended and I was watching the women's game the bartender said "sorry, we have to change off of women's basketball and put the TV on men's basketball,: and they changed to the Big East men's game.

My friends couldn't understand why I was so upset. I left and came home to watch the rest of the game.
