Maybe, but no cushion is needed for Hudson Hamilton (or Easton Tumis). Those 2 can mow them down as well as anyone we've got. Burns is making a case otherwise in the early season.

That was sunday and idt it was in 1st inning. We scored tonite in the 1st off a base hit to LF with a man on 2nd and 2 outs.

He did swing the bat well, but he's definitely having more luck from the left side.
