Now that I've been able to watch Jason Flores pitch. I like his arsenal, his pitches have good swing and miss movement. I'm impressed, kid can pitch.

Dang, Mendoza is deadly with that bunt. 3rd baseman doesn't even attempt the throw. Mendoza working hard to be that 1 hole player for the team. I like his moxie, kid oozes desire, blue collar work ethic.

Belyeu moves him to 2nd.

If Mendoza can be a true #1 or if Texas can find that player, this team will be as deadly 1-5 as any team we've had in recent memory. and this is without Flores, Gas or Schuessler really hitting like we know they can yet.

Yeah, he looks about as advertised--which was very good.

Wow, two good plays. Flores back hands the ball deep in the hole between ss and 3rd, throws across his body for a pinpoint accurate throw to get the third out.

And Gas does what Gas does, caught a fly ball against the wall for the 2nd out.
