C.Michale, if you do not get an offer from Texas or LSU, find a different school, a&m will not be back for a long, Long, LONG time.
 
My personal opinions:

Sherman offered over 40 four and five star recruits and lost each and every head to head!

Our commits have already been picked over!

You wouldn't want any of them, they're all leftovers!

Hell, I don't even want any of them!

Well you called out shermy early on while your aggy brethren were singing his praises. what do you see happening from this point on out as to sherman and the program.

My personal opinions:

Thanks okhorn! I been here; you can only repeat "crappy recruiting and crappy coaching" so many weeks in a row, so I've just not said much!

As to the future, A&M will be cemented at the bottom of the Big 12 in 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, and 2013 due to our terrible recruiting by our current head coach!

This year by Feb 09, I truly expect each and every Big 12 south team to sign more 4 and 5 star athletes than A&M! We will be ranked below #30 and maybe closer to #40? WE SUCK!

TU, ou, and Nebraska will have signed more 4 and 5 star recruits in total for 5 years than A&M! Double by TU and ou!

Okie state will have signed more 4 and 5 star players than A&M in total for the last four years!

Baylor is expected to sign more than A&M this year and in the future!


Tech just out coaches us every year with less talent!

Our current "nfl" coaching staff "gets A&M", but does not get college recruiting or college football: and I just wish they would " get lost" by December 1, 2008!

I have a hard time believing that the ag alumni would allow this to continue much longer.

Things look so bad today that not even an occasional loss by Mack could help the shermanator dig out of this hole. I hope Mack learned his lesson with Franchione after the alums fired him anyway.

I Guess we are looking at the end of the 2009 season at the earliest before Shermy gets the axe and i would guess $ Bill gets castrated first if not already done by this coming Monday.

So I see your point that it will be the 2012 season before the Ag's have a chance to be a better team. It's strange that this may coincide with the end of days on the Mayan calendar.

I do not believe that hte Aggy Brass will wait until 2012. If he gets another year after this one, then it will be his do-or-die year. It will be recognized as a mistake by everyone involved and he will be g-o-n-e.

Living in Utah I can tell you that all 3 of these schools would roll a$m and none will get half the talent that a$m still has committed.

The recruits they get are along the lines of 1-star 2-star and lots of No Star athletes. aggsy is still livin exclusively in 3-4 star range.
 
What coach in his right mind would want to follow Sherman to Bagdad on the Brazos? It would take a coaching and recruiting genius five years, minimum, to start to turn that situation around. Life's too short to dance with ugly women, and way too short to take on that ugly dog of a coaching job. aggy blew their best chance by not hiring Art Briles. There's nobody of his ability out there this year that would give aggy more than a courtesy call. I'm not sure aggy can even pay that much, since they're still paying off what, four or five previous coaches? I'm guessing Sherman has at least two more years at eaTme, and by that time, reality should have set in with the cult.
 
...and by the way, aggy doesn't have any recruits we want, but they should worry that SMU, UH, UTEP, UNT, and maybe Texas State might raid 'em. This February's gonna be a bleak one for agricultural.
 
Aggie won't fire the Shermanator yet as they are still paying Fran!!! I will be laughing all the way to bank once thier AD is fired. He wishes he was the Jones's, but there is only room for one in this state!!!
