I have a Jack Daniels Whiskey Barrell...

that I need to find a use for. I bought it out at Canton about a year ago and it still smells like whiskey inside though its pretty weathered now. I originally purchased it to make an outdoor patio table with a glass top to put out by the smoker, but don't want to do that anymore. I've thought about incorporating it into some sort of outdoor shelving or even an outdoor sink to put by the smoker (just add plumbing and sink). What sort of things can I do with a barrell other than bust it up and use the wood for smoke?

FYI, I want to somehow incorporate it into my barbecue experience, weather it be a table or shelving or whatever. Any ideas?

It looks like this:

A ranch I went to once had a keg like that on its side on a stand. They cut part of it out and put it on hinges, so that it opens like a cooler. Then somehow they put some insulation in it and a drain, and put it next to the grill. It looks great with some longnecks sticking out of it.
