An update to this story. A Texas DA (Harris County) has cleared Planned Parenthood and indicted 2 people associated with Center for Medical Progress based on the grand jury recommendation. http://www.cnn.com/2016/01/25/politics/planned-parenthood-activists-indicted/index.html



The quotes from both sides are predictable.

Just as I did with PP, I'm going to reserve judgment on the CMP defendants until I understand the case against them and know the evidence. (Just to be clear, I reserved judgment against PP on the criminal case. I judge the hell out of them on the moral and political case.)

From what I have heard, the basis of the case against them is primarily due to their use of fake driver's licenses in their attempt to go undercover. It sounds like an incredibly flimsy merit if I understand correctly.
The secondary indictment seems to be, ironically enough (again, if I understand) that they were trying to buy illegal fetal tissue.
Sounds like a waste of time and money to me.
