I am Iron Man

I went and saw it and really liked it. I had/have no idea what iron man is all about, I was a blank slate, so I don't know if it was true to its comic book origins etc.

Can somebody please pm me what happened at the end of the credits?

Thanks, I'll hang up and listen.

It was good.

The weakest part was at the end when the dude was duking it out with Iron Man. But RDJ was very good.

Ok, I stayed for the credits. Total waste of time unless you are a Marvel fanboy. Otherwise a good movie.

We were told while waiting in line that we "had to stay all the way through the credits" by several people. We stayed, and though I was at one point a marvel fan boy, was kind of disappointed. The movie held together very well, but the implications of the ending on the sequal I found... unappealing.

Highlight to read spoilers:
The benefit of hitting a homerun in the first movie is that you don't have to worry about rehashing the exposition in the second movie. Iron Man gave a good background for the characters, and pulled off a fun movie. In the next movie they are either going to have to explain a bunch of new characters (which takes time) and possibly a bunch of new powers (which takes even more time). I just don't see the upside. Seems like a lot of headache for very little payoff.

mia1994-

Writing in INVISIBLE ink. Great "super power". Nice!

As someone who only read Iron Man as a kid, I'll be disappointed if there's no movie with the Mandarin at some point. But with political correctness and Yinsen's plot arc already finished, I think the best I can hope for is a Black Widow-Scarlet Witch menage-a-trois.

more invisible ink:
I just assumed the afgani with the big black ring that he couldn't stop playing with was destined to be the mandarin in the second go round.

*** Spoilers ***

I have a question about the thing in his chest. It was an electro-magnet to keep metal fragments out of his heart correct? Could he not go to a real hospital once he escaped and get the fragments removed? Even if he couldn't, why the slowly weakening state as he crawled to get the replacement? Wouldn't the chance of a chunk of metal in your heart be an all or nothing scenario?

RDJ did a great job pulling off the role and it was pretty damn funny, but I thought the story was pretty much terrible. I had heard such good things, and while these types of movies aren't normally my thing I decided to see it. I was a little disappointed. Decent movie for its genre but nothing to write home about, IMO.

There was not really any sort of "bad guy" and the story was so diluted. Not sure what all the fuss is about.

I tend to agree with DeadHeadHorn about the storyline. RDJ and Paltrow were great, but for the most part it seems like the film makers were just laying the foundation for the sequel(s) with this movie.

Michael Knight....my sentiments exactly. Very entertaining movie, but when I left I felt that something was missing. Seems like these movies spend a quarter of the time developing the hero before fighting the nemisis, but this one spent the whole movie doing so. Nonetheless, very enjoyable.

I'm in Argentina and when I clicked on Tony Stark's Music Video, it said-

This video not available in your country.

QUESTION: What is the music video?
