Nebraska trailed Virginia Tech, 28-10, midway through the third but have since closed the gap to 28-23 with 7:52 left to play thanks in part to an 88-yard punt return.

The score should be 28-24, but silly coaches can't help themselves when it comes to the 2-point conversion (they should throw out the chart and use this simple rule of thumb: don't chase points until you have to).

The Big XII North is starting to revert back to form after a bit of false hope from some imposter teams who have now been exposed. Missouri is an elite team, Kansas is above average, and that's about it in the north.

I'll talk about it in my commentary tomorrow, but that game should not have been as close as it was. We got our asses kicked, plain and simple.

Next week could be U-G-L-Y, UGLY. If VT scored 35 against us (and God knows that could have been worse), imagine what Missouri's offense is going to do...I can easily see mudhole....
