With Manning coming in, I suspect we get a full-fledged competition given that QE did not exactly WOW across the course of the season. The decision to stay could come down to whether Card believes he can do well enough in a competition to be QB2.

I wonder if it came down to him believing that it would not matter how well he did in a competition.

the kid that beat out Max Duggan at tcu before getting hurt, and then could not regain the starter role once he got healthy. (Morris was the kid, son of Coach Morris) will return next year. Card could find himself on the bench again should he go to TCU
