How Good is Fowles

WARNING!!!!!!!!!!!
Inebriated post coming.

Anywho, I can't help but think what a GREAT defensive force Sylvia Fowles is. I suspected that Tennessee would look a little better against Stanford, but the shot selection seemed totally different. Pedersen and Appel are going to be fun as sh*t to watch but from a defensive perspective, FOWLES IS JUST A FLAT OUT INTIMIDATOR.

Hell Parker may be the best all around player in the game but in terms of pure post play........WHEW.....Fowles is something else. Anyway considering I don't remember what I typed in the first half of this post, I think I'll call it a night.

P.S.- Can't wait until we get to the Tennessee, LSU, UConn level.

Fowles May be a very good defender but he offense, 20+ points notwithstanding, Sucked1! She missed bunny after bunny!! Had she made those, so easy even a caveman etc., LSU would have been flaying for the championship. Her position in the draft would have dropped had I been SELECTING. Obviously I wasn't.

You don't base a draft position on ONE game, for gosh sakes, Fowles has been totally dominant all 4 years at LSU.....she will only get BETTER in the WNBA!!

Let me clarify.

I wasn't basing it off her draft pick. I was being sarcastic because I was pissed that someone would post the question about Fowles. In other words, she's DARN good and for emphasis she's good enough to be drafted 2nd in the WNBA draft.

Hopefully, my explanation clarifies things for you.

Fowles has great footwork and moves well for a tall girl. I think she will need to improve here shooting from everywhere besides under the basket to make a huge impact at the next level. If a defense can force her from under the basket, I don't think she can be as effective.

She will learn, Tiffany Jackson did...

Pretty much all players get better when they go pro, or they go back to their days jobs that they have a degree in!!
