Who does Sark want is more relavent, right?
I'm not sure I would choose a system that would require us to outbid Aggie jock sniffers. Obsession has limits ..except in the SEC.If winning is now largely about money then we stand a better chance of a return to winning ways - nothing to be done about it so let's leverage our advantages

Poster on 247 says that it's a done deal and that the only thing stopping him from the announcement is NIL details.
So you're new herewe don't know, and shouldn't apply too much more than those things...or any other things that seem to be true about a young man until we know.
Now how can anyone love a trip to Lubbock? Do they like wind, dust bowls and a mouth full of dirt?
Sark wants a long line trying to get into UT. That's what he needs. Now is the time.
Man, Ewers is gonna get rich just transferring to and fro.
Lol I know. I didn't realize so many had been here since before '98.So you're new here

No doubt that the folks in west (OK, NW) Texas are some of the nicest people you will ever meet. I might put Amarillo at the top of that list. For starters, there's quite a few metroplex girls going to college there and Dallas, in particular, is famous for it's gorgeous women.
Back in 1983/84 I had a long distance relationship (I lived in Dallas) with a girl going to Tech. We met over the summer as she was an intern. Yeah... I swooped in on the college intern. Relax. I was only 24 at the time. But I digress. So, I visited her over the two year stretch and always had a great time. The students partied A LOT. That's what mattered. They had a good time and you get caught up in it right away. After a while, you don't even realize you're in Lubbock except for the fact that it was a dry county. So the trek to the liquor store was a bit of a pain but guess what? That was a party too. It's all a party, right?
The other charm of Lubbock was the time me and this other guy (who was also dating a Red Raider long distance) ran out of gas about five miles out of Lubbock. Long story short. He thumbed a ride and I stayed with the car. He got picked up almost immediately and I had at least five - seven people stop and ask me if I needed assistance. That alone put Lubbock on the map in my mind and I've never forgotten it.
There was/is none of the Austin snootiness up there. It's a real thing and some folks just like that.
I did.

What's college football going to look like in 10-15 years?
Don't like this idea - without boundaries, where does this go?
Did Ewers have to pay back the NIL $ in the OSU deal? if not, great lesson in accountability.
I can see this whole thing going off the rails in a bad way for college football.
Not wrong at all.Legal on the table or illegal under the table? Which is it?
If we always held true to our stated values, we have always avoided the SEC due to the graft, corruption and "if you ain't cheatin' you ain't tryin" ethic. Now the playing field is level and we can proudly compete with our wallets; the same as the SEC has always done it.
Am I wrong?
