Pimp Daddy
Today we find our Horns looking to punch the first ticket to Omaha as the first team in the College World Series.
Who would a thunk it, but it's true, it's true.

You really hope to do it today for all the normal reasons, but also because you have your only other true starter going in French. You also don't want to give Houston momentum for a third game with who knows as your starter tomorrow. This is also the only game that Texas will be the home team in the series.

The starting pitchers have now been announced. They are of course right hander Parker French, at 5-5 and an era of 2.62.
Houston counters with right hander Aaron Garza at 9-4 and 2.67.

There has been no line-up card posted, but you know that Texas's line-up is pretty much chiseled in stone.
