Ho-hum. A game we should have easily won against a 5-10 Mountaineer team and we haven't shown up. Down by 11 with 5:30 to go 59-48.

Oh and we have about 47 turnovers so far. We'll see if this team has any fight.

If this score holds up, there’s no way to sugarcoat it, this is is just an awful awful awful loss against a really bad team. This is the kind of loss that when they start looking at resumes for bubble teams can keep you out of the tournament. That’s how bad loss it is.

That sort of sloppiness seems to be our story lately.

The portal in terms of guards was just so shallow this year. Everyone wants the ball control guys now, and we clearly swung and missed with Weaver and Horton... both of whom were supposed to be scoring off the bench and neither is bringing anything to the table.

Hunter is such a shell of what he was at ISU. He was so good at creating plays for everyone else.

Hate to say the season is done four games into conference play but wow is that the feeling I had last night and still have this morning. Barring a total change in how this team reacts to adversity, plays under pressure and simply shows up when they need to, they are headed to a 5-13 type conference record and an early start to the offseason in March.

It wasn't a great year for guards in the portal, and we whiffed on everyone not named Abmas. If we had a decent PG who could defend, we'd be in a much better spot. JNJ (who ended up at TCU) would have been excellent here. Or Javian McCollum from OU.

I could care less if other schools players or fans do the Horns down. However, the postgame hand shake line is not the time for it. Terry shouldn’t have reacted publicly like he did. I don’t think it was a good look, especially with the trajectory the season is on. Oh, and there is one big difference, ou does suck. Truth is an absolute defense.
