For those that wanted to see fewer walks, congrats.

We will see how they rebound, but Pierce has killed Morehouses and Hurleys production. He’s decided that Sthele is no longer worthwhile even though he’s allowed 1 hit in 5.2 innings. But those scary walks.

It’s just one loss and only our 3rd game allowing double digits runs. But damned if Pierce isn’t dead set on running them into the ground. He needs a better understanding of what’s happening in college baseball. Runs are being scored. Hitters are better than they’ve ever been top to bottom. Strike zones are smaller. Pitchers don’t throw as many pitches. But I guess keep chasing a miracle that isn’t going to happen.
