That's what happens when they show up. Best running performance of the season. Defense I think matched up better with Iowa State, which isn't as explosive. They seemed like they could focus a lot more on the run and trust their DBs in the passing game. Purdy got more and more rattled as the game went on, and he was pretty well ready to go sit down when he got hurt. Montgomery was a non-factor, and I don't think it would have mattered if he'd have started. The front really stepped up their game.

Just got back from the game. Very fun atmosphere. Recruits would have loved it. Did they show the cell phone flashlights on TV?

It's not easy to totally dominate a well coached team like that. Purdy looked like a frosh tonight. We did more blitzes from inside tonight and we had pressure get there. Also D ends beat their men consistently. And finally when we had opportunities for big plays on the D side we made them. Outside of the dropped pic 6 we made almost all the plays that were right in front of us.

I surely hope the Horns don’t overlook what looks to be a fiesty Kansas team. We all know how Vince struggled with them a few years back and what happened two years ago. I hope TH has them ready and they leave no doubt from the opening kickoff.
