Horns v Arkansas

Great play by Bradley to extend the lead during that last stretch. Clutch free throws by James. Closing it out on the road was a good experience for this team. Bring on the Big XII.
 
This win was gratifying.

Fortson returning gave them a real lift tonight, but the Horns stayed cool while it was close and never really lost command when the other team was making plays.

I was at the strollin' Nolan game, so every time a win happens to be over the hogs, there's extra enjoyment.

Are you serious? We do NOT think of you horns as rivals in basketball. I LAUGHED when I heard that too! How can you be rivals when we beat you almost everytime we play. We feel about you in basketball the way you guys claim to feel about us in football. You have NO tradition. Have you ever even been to a final four? I really don't understand why we keep scheduling you guys. We are down right now but still, It's no fun when you win nearly all the time. Let's play some football.
 
your always down..."wait till next year" it seems like that is arkansas' moto. i live in nw arkansas and people hate Texas more than they like themselves. Pelphry even wears a "special" coat when plating Texas. It sucks to suck
 
RazorTusk - you've got to be kidding me. Your team hasn't been relevant since the mid 1990s. One Sweet 16 appearance? And, oh a 4th in the NIT.

Meanwhile, Rick Barnes has built the Horns into a perrineal powerhouse including 1 Final Four, two more Elite Eight, two more Sweet 16s, and an NCAA appearance ever year.

We're currently #2 and undefeated. The Hogs ... well now have a losing record, courtesy of the Horns.

But, you're right let's forget about basketball and focus on football. Nice OT victory over ECU in the Liberty Bowl. That's kind of like finishing 4th in the NIT.

BTW - we'll be watching our Horns play for another NC on Thursday - our 3 BCS bowl in the last 5 years. That's like making the Final Four.

Maybe, we should switch to baseball. Guess who'll be preseason #1.

Look, we could be "down" for 20 years and you still wouldn't have the record or history we have. And by the way, we sure as heck don't want to be rivals of yours in basketball. Please someone, end this series!
 
Well, you are nearly 15 years into being down for 20 years, so you are officially mediocre at best.

Meanwhile, the Horns are now a top program - a place where top players want to come before heading on to the NBA.

You guys aren't that good. We have the worst team we've had in 30 years and we still almost beat you.

Not that good? You're probably right....14-0 with wins over 2 top 10 teams and a current #2 ranking sucks. Have fun reading our boards in March when we're breaking down our potential final four matchups. You'll have plenty of time then, since your team will be sitting on their couches winding down after another year of suckitude.

Yes, let's play some football.....that was quite fun last year if I recall. Maybe you remember the score.....Have fun in the annual Irrelevance Bowl that you bailed on us for. You and aggy make for a perfect marriage.

I always check out the board of our current opponent so, don't flatter yourself. You honestly think the world revolves around Texas. SAD! You need to get out sometimes, maybe then you would realize it doesn't.

That football win of yours was at a time when we were changing coaches and we were short on players. It wasn't a fair fight and you know it. Try us now and see what happens. You know it would be an all out war! Ask aggie about us, the team you had trouble beating.
