sblazer, we stopped back by at the czech stop/shell on our way home.. gas had fallen to $2.59.

when we went up on friday, it was $2.83 and a tanker was there filling up the tanks.

i filled up for fun.

I just paid $1.79 at a Valero in Angleton. ONE DOLLAR AND SEVENTY NINE CENTS. I didn't even need gas. I was a little over half full. I stopped and filled up my truck anyway.

To think I paid $4 per gallon during Hurricane Ike.

I filled up for $1.95 yesterday off Brodie and in answer to

"would you say the quality of the gas is ****** b/c it's cheaper?"

I used to work for Exxon in their stock control area and I'm here to tell you it's all the same gas. No matter who sells it or what station it comes from, it came from only 3 or 4 refineries. Its all the same gas.

There are some gas stations I won't stop at because their pumps are so slow. I waited over 10 min at the last gas station before Carlos and Charlie's one time to fill my 20 gal tank. POS. It's a great place to get beer before boating because it's usually much less crowded than anything at 2222 and 620 but I won't get gas there.

Regarding gas prices, on 2222 just west of mopac there are 2 gas stations on the north side of the road that are always priced similarly for premium. Just a block past on the south side is a Texaco that is consistently 10-30 centers higher. I want to stop in there ask them why that's the case but I never stop there.

I've probably heard 15 different versions of Comfortably Numb and it still rocks.
