Herman's behavior....

I guarantee you that OSU receiver was talking **** between plays. Hager basically told the guy I am coming for you next play. It was not a cheap shot. It was a legal hit delivered during a live play, and after the play Hager returned to his side of the ball and did not fight.

I played football for 9 years. If you aren't capable of getting fired up and unleashing and/or defending against another man with 100% of your physical power, you don't belong on the field. The outcome of the game was decided, but there was still time on the clock. If you want to talk **** with time on the clock, then you need to be prepared for a fired up opponent trying to blow you up. Simple as that. Hager kept it between the whistles. Nothing wrong with that at all. It's a contact sport.

Gundy didn’t go near any of our players, but yes he should have been flagged for running out on the field but what gets me is none of our guys stepped in to help Hager when he got swarmed by the pokes.

I think our guys figured Hager made his own bed there and had to have known what was coming....

Agree w Stat - Hager knew it was V formation and went he went for it and #13 spun him to the ground. He was in the Okie backfield so he was surrounded.
Game was lost and no class on this play.

Did I hear Herman correctly that Hager is injured? Would be "interesting" if he hurt himself on that last play.....not sure of seriousness of injury....

While I agree that Hager may have exhibited poor judgment on the last play, I love his heart. He plays as hard as anyone and I believe he was injured for much of the game. You could see it. If everyone on D did as much with their God given talent as Hager does, we would probably be smothering our opponents.

OL Elijah Rodriguez on Tom Herman running onto the field at end of OSU game:

“That’s one of the things I love about Coach Herman — he’s really passionate about his job. He loves us dearly, and he’ll defend us.”

That whole scene in Stoolwater is unsettling. How the Big XII lets them play in that bandbox only Sabre knows.

There was a cut to the sidelines I think in the fourth quarter that the announcing team completely whiffed on, where Hagar had come off and was doubling over. At the time, I thought he was throwing up.
