Herman better record than Sark through 34 games...

All true. But the point is the win loss record is about the same. Charlie didn't exactly leave a stable situation either.

It's reasonable to be concerned about Sarkisian's in game decisions that lead to momentum changes that affect our team. Equally concerning is his career record as a head coach if the two most powerful programs in the PAC. Hopefully the recent success continues but the OP put up an interesting point
Can you not just enjoy a 8-1 start and playing meaningful games in Nov towards the playoffs? The eye test is not lying here. Biggest thing Sark did this year was to convince Ford, Sweat, Jones to come back for their Sr. years. That rarely happened under Herman except Sam. Also comparing a sober Sark to a drunk Sark is not that meaningful IMHO.

Again... all well and good. But what the OP put up is something I can't argue with.

Well Sark had his goofy *** moment where he bowed up on some low level bowl official coming out of the tunnel last year before our bowl game.
That was just as embarrassing IMO

someone said above we’re getting better. but we played our best football back in September and we have been flirting with disaster ever since.
hopefully we go out there in. 5 minutes and play a complete football game.
This is something Sark and Herman have had in common. Not many complete football games

Tom Herman was an awful human being, who was doing immeasurable damage to Texas. He had to go. You cannot compare his record after three years with Sark’s record after the same number of games you just can’t. Herman was an awful awful awful representative of this university, and had to go.

Plus he had no recruits moving forward so make it 6-6 for next 3 seasons. If hypotheticals are allowed, so can I.
