Sorry, can't help. I'm into Cricket, Spades, Canasta, Bridge, Hearts, Lawn Bowling, Shuffleboard, Batcheball (?).
I will, however, read about the winner to see what catchy name won. Was it Ricky Rocky? Or Jimmy Jims? Or Dale or Kyle or Butch.
How are those guys born, given their names, and then 20 years later they have the perfect Hollywood name to drive in NASCAR? Even the sir names of the car owner corporations are perfectly fitted to the sport.
Can you run a bunch of cars and have a name other than Hendrick?
How many drivers have ever been named Harold, Roy, Larry, Joseph, William, Dexter, Maxwell, Thomas, Lewis... ??
Far as I can tell, the pros who end up in tennis, golf, football, baseball, basketball and auto sports... all have names perfectly suited to that sport. 90% would sound weird in any other sport.
I will say this... one night, in the Bay Area, I paid in advance for ten laps on a pretty sophisticated amateur track with upscale go-cart type cars. When I finished I could barely walk or move my arms. I was locked up and bushed more than riding my bike 20 miles.
