Laurie Lamb, a five year old little girl, has been diagnosed with a rare form of cancer -- Acute Myelogenous Leukemia. Its treatable, but doctors project that her medical expenses will run upwards of $2 million. Even with good insurance, her family is faced with the daunting task of paying their 20% of her bills.

Please pray for this little girl, and if you have the means, help her family as they face this terrible crisis.

I went through cancer very recently, and it is horrible. I will keep her in my prayers, and she will pull through this.

If it's normal insurance, that 20% should "cap out" at about 4- 5000 dollars as a MAX out of pocket. God bless the little girl.

Sharing in the thoughts and prayers of many, along with our contributions and well wishes to Laurie and her family.

my brother is a doctor and i understand they have to make a living, but why can't they and hospitals forgive a little for something like this? they get dilled for billions every year in indigent care. why can't they give a little(free care) for something like this once in awhile?

God Bless that little girl. breaks my heart. i'm not wealthy. i'll send the small amount i can.

i'm really praying everything ends up good for her.

What a terrible thing for this little girl and her family. I will keep them all in my prayers.

I was surprised and pleased to see the names of Bill and Tracie McMeans on the list of sponsors for Laurie. I used to work with Tracie at McLane Co. in Temple. She and Bill are terrific people and Longhorns through and through. Bill came through
for me in a big way back in late 1989. I imagine that the Lambs are close friends of the McMeans'.
