Beowulf does this program even work? I downloaded it and ran it with the web address plugged in. I opened up 20 voting threads and left it running on my computer and am currently at 67,500 votes cast. But when I go on Espn's site and check on the results, we are still floating around 12%, which should not be the case at all if almost 68K votes have gone to Texas per this program......what's the deal?

It doesn't seem to be 1 to 1. The app will submit the votes, but I suspect ESPN is throttling them somehow. For the programmers on the board, I am submitting the form every .1 secs via .net HttpWebRequest object. Should work but maybe ESPN has something going on the server side.

Any ideas?

We did gain quite a bit since the app was distributed. Ah well, a fun little experiment anyway.

I changed the app and tested it by grabbing the Bama guy's version and tearing it open.

I am doing the exact same thing his did.

Incidentally his was originally a Woot.com app. haha
