1. After 140 votes, Texas leads Michigan by about a 2-to-1 margin.

2. Michigan has a pretty cool helmet, so if they advance, it's not a big deal.

3. Whoever drew up these brackets to where Michigan & Texas would meet in the 2nd round is an idiot.

This should be a good one. Best two helmets in college ball without a doubt.

On a side note, how on God's green earth can atm be on that list? Aside from the fact that 80% of them are royal dickheads, their helmets are just butt ugly---maroon with a cash dispenser logo on them. Their helmets are not in the top five of the conference, let alone the nation.

However, rest assured, if there is one thing that aggy does well and that is cheat on internet polls. They will undoubetley win in the finals with over a billion votes, 999,999,999 of which will be computer generated.

Actually Fritz Crisler coached at Princeton with them first, then he brought them to Michigan when he got hired there. Princeton stopped using it after he left and only picked it back up later. So although Princeton was the first to have them, it's associated with Michigan because they had it longer.

I think USF has a cooler helmet than USC.
USC's helmet sucks.

I also think Arizona State's is better than Michigan.

Either one of 2 things are happening:

1. Everyone is voting for Texas, b/c we'd be "easier" to knock out rounds later.

2. Everyone is voting for Texas b/c they're tired of Michigan of winning.

Technically speaking, if the Ags wanted to win so much, they'd be smart to vote for Texas. They won't have a CHANCE against Michigan, but could possibly get past Texas, due to their fanbase, and ours being the most hated in the B12 xD..7th national.

Michigan is my 2nd favorite, but side by side, Texas blows them away. Our helmets are just that great. Easily the best in college football.

I'm all for Texas winning ... but where'd/how'd you come across that link? The ESPN website shows that Texas v. Michigan doesn't being until Wednesday. It looks like the rest of the country sees the following:

Texas
Wed, Aug. 6

Just a thought ... but the fact that the link may only be posted here could be skewing the votes a tad.

I find it funny that some people commenting on this Helmet Clash think Michigan was the first to use the design even though Wikipedia clearly states otherwise.

Ya.. I never knew Michigan fans had such hard heads. Honestly, what the HELL does the helmet resemble for a wolverine? The "ears" don't match up as being low-flat ears, and they don't have stripes. IT's pretty obvious it matches Princeton Tigers more..
